UK Mainland
For Next working day delivery please ensure Express or Next Day Delivery is selected at checkout and that your order is placed before 2pm. Please be aware this is a working day service and does not include weekends or Bank Holidays. Orders received after 2pm on a Friday for Next Day Delivery will be dispatched on Monday for delivery on Tuesday.
UK Non-Mainland and Ireland
Next Day delivery is only available to UK Mainland addresses and excludes Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man, the Isle of Wight, Isles of Scilly, Customers in these areas can receive an Express Delivery service and should allow 2 extra working days.
We will make every effort to have your parcel with you as soon as possible however The Cake And Sugarcraft Store do not guarantee any delivery date and postage cost are not refundable.
Heavy items have a standard £5 delivery charge and are exempt from the free delivery order value.
Packaging
We aim to recycle as much packaging as we can, but we do need to protect your order and we will use recycled packaging to do this if we are able to, it may not be the prettiest but it will help the environment.
Returns
Please inform us if you intend to return a product by email, You must let us know you intend to return an item within 7 days of receiving it.
The products must be returned within 14 days of delivering it to you, and no later than 7 days after letting us know you intend to return any items.
The products must be returned in their original condition, unused, in their original packaging (including any and all outer packaging) and in a perfect saleable condition.
Please ensure the items are securely packaged to ensure they reach us in good condition. We strongly recommend you return the items using a tracked delivery service.
Edible, food-contact, customized or personalized items, cut ribbon ad items specially ordered or made for the customer cannot be returned.
In cases where items are damage in transit we will replace the goods free of charge or refund once photographic evidence and a detailed explanation, has been provided as this will greatly aid the claims process filed with the carrier.
Receipt of returned item and refund
On receipt and inspection of the item/s we will then issue a refund where applicable. You, the buyer, are responsible for covering all return postage costs and we, the seller, do not refund original postage costs for unwanted / incorrectly ordered items.
We do not accept returns on perishable and consumable goods (I.E. food items), tailor made, special order items or personalized goods.
HOW DO I ARRANGE TO RETURN OR CANCEL AN ORDER?
You must email us to inform us of your intention to cancel under the distance selling regulations, within 14 calendar days of receipt and you will receive an acknowledgement as soon as we have received your message.
If you do not receive an acknowledgement within 24 hours this simply means we haven't received your email. Please note that under the regulations, simply sending the message is not sufficient; you must actually 'make contact'. You then must return the order to us within 14 calendar days from the point of making contact.
If you return an order (or refuse delivery of an order) before first making contact with The Cake And Sugarcraft Store, then please be aware that, under the Regulations, this is not understood to be you exercising your rights to cancel and that the order remains your responsibility, and that any subsequent delivery and/or return costs cannot be refunded. Please think of it as you sending the order to us via the courier in question - should the order be subsequently damaged or lost then the responsibility is yours, not ours, so we cannot refund unless it is received by us in acceptable condition
